The 100 painters at Via Margutta was a great success this past weekend, notwithstanding the weather. The street came alive with the hussle and bussle of visitors and painters alike. We were especially honored to have just outside our store, the works of famous Roman painter, Paolo Veneziani with his paintings of breathtaking sceneries.
This year, this event was aimed at the fight against racism, that with recent events occuring, couldn’t have been more appropriate. In fact, artists from all over the world were chosen to exhibit their works, such as the Polish painter Margherita Lipinska, the Peruvian Freddy Toledo, the Cuban Andres Borges Reyes, and the painter from Mozambique Farida Abdul Rasaque, to name a few. Each artist was chosen based on individual linguistic expression, tecnique and artistic message.
We had a fantastic time and we look forward to hosting them again…
